What is pumice colour?

Pumice is a volcanic rock that is light-colored, usually gray or white, and sometimes pink or brown. The color of pumice depends on the mineral composition of the lava that it formed from and can range from light gray to dark black. In general, the lighter the color, the lower the density of the pumice. Pumice is often used as an abrasive because of its composition, which includes silicate minerals such as feldspar, quartz, and mica. It is also used in construction materials, such as lightweight concrete and insulation.
